The exhibitions are not limited to the spaces inside the building.
In fact, the territory of Atelier 340 Muzeum expands to up to 500 m beyond the walls of the building itself.
Wanting to be integrated into public space by creating an Open air Museum, this surface composed itself by artistic interventions and monumental temporary or permanent sculptures. Through this approach, Atelier 340 Muzeum raises awareness of contemporary art and the esthetics of its environment to the inhabitants of the commune as well as the passing visitors.
Among participating artists: Jean-Marc Navez (BE), Bernard Venet (FR), Georg Hüter (DE), Adrian Maryniak (DE) etc.
